The Department of Electronic Business and Commerce (DEBC), established in March 2004, focuses on education and research in e-commerce and digital business. It offers an undergraduate program in Electronic Commerce and collaborates with the Department of Management Science and Engineering to provide graduate education in Management Science and Engineering.

The Department is supported by research platforms in management engineering, economic decision-making, and information management. Faculty members undertake and participate in a range of national and provincial research projects, as well as applied projects in collaboration with leading enterprises.
